Angry Vista Home premium/ lst page flipback

Running Vista home premium, 2gig ram, searching the internet on IE7....an icon keeps flipping up on the bottom right hand corner with the word 'back' and an arrow pointing left...then IE7 flips back to the previous page, and keeps rolling back...no stability when a page is loaded...just keeps rolling back to previous pages

Is it possible that someone installed some "mouse gesture" software on the computer? If so, moving the mouse while holding down one of the buttons will generate action, depending on how the mouse is moved.

As malware has become more sophisticated, the popular anti-spyware tools are having a hard time keeping up. Much of the new stuff requires more sophisticated, powerful and specialized tools to eliminate.

If you think it might be some sort of spyware/foistware, post a Hijack This log in the Cyber Safety forum.

If you're not familiar with Hijack This or the Cyber Safety forum, read the second post in this thread.

Once you have a Hijack This log, don't try to fix anything, just start a new thread in the Cyber Safety forum and paste your Hijack This log in for the experts there to analyze.

Cyber Safety is always busy but they will get to you. Please be patient.
