Constant WINDOWS UPDATE popup
I checked the update history, which shows the latest update was successful. But I am constantly (annoyingly) getting messages to download the latest update.
Any help is appreciated, thanks! Chip |

Hi cgm707. Are you sure that the message is generated by Windows Update? If so, can you please post the June entries in your Windows Update log (C:\Windows\Windowsupdate.log)

When I click on the update icon, I am taking to Control Panel/Windows Update. It shows a Windows Defender important update, from 6/19/07 that I have already installed. I have rebooted, turned the computer on and off, and still get the message to install the update.
