Blue Screen Error GBFSHOOK.SYS

I have been getting a blue screen error on and of for a while now and the computer needs to be shutdown. It has been quite frequent in the last week and has just happened again. It said this file caused the error;

GBFSHOOK.SYS with PAGE_FAULT IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I believe this file is part of the Norton GoBack software which I use?

Anyone have any ideas as to what maybe the problem?

Are GoBack and any other norton software on your computer updated versions? Try uninstalling and reinstalling them

It's version 3.0 and I tried updating yesterday but there are no longer updates available for this version. I'm gonna uninstall and see what happens now! It maybe now that it is not sufficiently compatible with XP + SP2? May try and get advice from Symantec.

Thanks for responding, always appreciated.
