When you go into event viewer, click system in left window. Double click the errors in the right side. A box will pop up telling you what the error is and in most cases it will include a link to an article about that error.

BTW... Did answer the question you asked!!

I looks like a virus that has embedded its way into somewhere not able to be found....and seeing that this EXACT thing has happened before, I believe that I have had it for around 3 or more months now, but now I finaly realize....it aint goin away! haha, thanks for listening to all this and helping, please continue. Have a great day!!!

For the UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME try this, taken from here.

http://www.driverforum.com/bios3/4102.html

It depends what Oprerating system your using.
If its win200 or XP insert your installation disk run setup and choose recovery console. youll get a command prompt
type in FIXMBR and enter.
Type Help for the commands of the recovery console at the prompt.

Once you get it running, go here and run an online virus scan.

Lee, what are you booting with? Have a look here for instructions on using the WinXP Recovery Console.

BTW..The correct command to use in your circumstances is chkdsk /r . Have a look at this article by Microsoft Unmountable_Boot_Volume error

If it turns out that you have a hardware problem, fixmbr, can cause problems with your partition tables. See the warning in the first link I posted.

Are you in the Recovery Console? All you should have to type is chkdsk /r.

Have a look at the instructions here Lee.

Restart the computer to the Recovery Console, and then use the chkdsk /r command to repair the volume.

To do this, use the following steps:

Start your computer with the Windows startup disks, or with the Windows CD-ROM if your computer can start from the CD-ROM drive.

When the Welcome to Setup screen appears, press R to select the repair option.

If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select the Windows installation that you want to access from the Recovery Console.

Type the administrator password when you are prompted to do so.
NOTE: If no administrator password exists, just press ENTER.

At the command prompt, type chkdsk /r, and then press ENTER.
At the command prompt, type exit, and then press ENTER to restart your computer.

do either of you know why my audio control will not work, it was like this before, but I just need to find that out also....I cannot change it at all on my computer. Even when I close Kazaa, and any other program that controls sound, it applies to ALL audio my computer outputs

You can try uninstalling your sound card drivers. Not sure if you have a card or onboard, but go into device manager, and scroll down to sound. Click the + sign, then highlight and remove all entries. Reboot and let windows reinstall.

Post back with results.
