Why do you need more RAM to use applications in XP
I'm a gamer and when I look at the system reqiurements on the boxes i notice when it says " windows 98 = 128mb ram, windows xp = 256 ram", and i just think it is weird fir it to need more

Hi ISpEakGeEk,
That's probably due to the fact that XP's minimum system requirements for RAM are higher than 98's..........the XP operating system alone requires "At least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (128 MB is recommended)", whereas 98 requires "16 megabytes (MB) of memory (24 MB recommended)" |
