Some how, you need to determine if the sound is coming from the speakers (implying electrical/audio noise from interference or something similar) or mechanical noise from bad bearing or a fan blade hitting a wire or something similar.

You said you are guessing it is coming from a speaker then in the same sentence saying it is coming from an air vent where a fan would draw in or expel air. ???

Without this notebook on my own bench, I don't know how to help you.
