can i get vista?

is there a safe site to d/l vista? i just wanted to see what it was all about and check out the new features. i heard something about a beta version or something.

if your work place or uni/college/school gets it and they have some MSDN system then you can get it

No problem, also it was a huge download...If your thinking about getting, I would browse this board and others reading about any problems before diving into it. It is a memory hog. I have 1.5GB memory and it does use some....

big download if you're on a small connection, took me about 1.5hours on 16mb line, getting nice speeds

one thing to consider if you are going to download. If you are going to upgrade several computers, you could lose any discounts for additional computers. So far all the discounts I have seen requires you to purchase the box version.
