hp scanner question
hi
when i scan a color picture with my 3670 hp scanner there is a blue streak going though the scanned picture.i know this would happen with my inkjet printer because it uses ink but does the scanner use ink to scan and save the photo to my computer?i think not but i could be wrong...thanks. lenny |

No, the scanner doesn't use ink to scan and save. Scanned files are just like any other computer file...totally electronic.

Streaks are often the result of dirty scanner glass. Any good glass cleaner and a soft, lint free cloth can clean it although you may have to take the glass out of the scanner to clean both sides.
