Lets you add bits of DHTML ("user scripts") to any web page to change its behaviour. In much the same way that user CSS lets you take control of a web page's style, user scripts let you easily control any aspect of a web page's design or interaction.

If you have an URL you want to post at certain forums but it's too long - [or in an instant message etc] This will shorten the URL without breaking it.

Example:
http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/...FOX+EXTENSIONS

would become http://tinyurl.com/gnpjx

At CTH this isn't necessary as they get automatically shortened when posted....I find it very useful elsewhere though.

One that hasn't been mentioned yet is the simple Back to the Top.

"Back to Top" takes you to the beginning of the page with one click - likewise can be used to go to the bottom of the page without having to scroll.
