Hi Bad Dog, you log is fine but I notice that you do not have scanregw.exe running at startup. It could save you a few problems if you do. If you want to do this, run regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run. Create a new string value called ScanRegistry and set the value data to C:\Windows\Scanregw.exe /autorun.

Thanks AnnMarie. I have to do some studying on this HJT log thing. Actually I do have scanregw running at startup as I wouldn't want to miss a reg backup. It's saved me so many times. I have a program that backup 15 days. I just looked at it and it's updated the last 15 days. Don't know why it's not or if it is supposed to be on this particular log.

That's odd, scanregw.exe should show if it's running at startup. It looks like this in a Hijack This log.
