A redneck fireman needs ya'lls advice
I don't have any antivirus on this machine as of a couple of days ago. Are there any free antivirus programs that ya'll would recommend. All I am familiar with is Norton and to tell the truth I didn't ever know if it was doing what it was supposed to.
I need some good advice from someone that knows what their doing, because I dang sure don't. Thank Ya'll Robin, the computer idiot, redneck fireman, from Peckerwood Ala.

I have been using nortons for years without a problem. However it is always good to get a second opinion so every once in a while I use an online scanner. Which one depends upon my mood but if you look in my signature you will find a free online antivirus scanner.
Also make sure that you keep your nortons definitions updated. Remember there is no such thing as a perfect antivirus software.
