I've tried a number of mouse button/key combinations and can't reproduce the problem.
So, to start troubleshooting....is this a desktop or laptop? If a laptop, are you using the touchpad when it happens? Is is a wireless mouse? If so, have you changed out the batteries? Have you tried a different mouse that you know works correctly? Have you repeatedly pressed and released the mouse buttons (including the wheel) to dislodge anything that might be clogging the works? Any chance someone else has access to your computer and put a prank on it? |

The only other things I can suggest are checking the settings for the mouse in Control Panel and, if no success there, updating the video card drivers.
Other than those two, I'm out of ideas. |
