emachine Windows 7 IE problem
Hi have a emachine E642G using a bigpond sierra wireless system to browse IE.
i believe it is IE8.

system has worked well for past 3 months until 3 days ago

Many pages 'Flicker' then reload every few seconds leading to "Windows cant display IE..."message.

Can't access eBay and some other sites. Buggy or what?

microsoft led me to suspect the eMachine laptop may be at fault?

Have you tested with a different browser to make sure it's not your internet connection?


Also do the usual malware/av scans.

emailed my Internet provider who put me onto a larger, yet cheaper download allowance. Which seems to be working fine, for now at least, as it's just renewed.

No explanation for why it was contantly reloading, rather than loading slowly though. I expect the same will happen again.

No answer for eBay failure either. I'll try a scan using a spyware detector, although i believe AVG is up to date.
