Thumbs up Hard drive space

My 'C' drive was almost full so I had a larger Hard drive ,i clone the 'C' to the larger hard drive but now the larger hard drive is showing the same size as the 'C' Drive, now lost 40g of space on the larger drive.
Can someone explain what happen the larger hard drive and how can i recover the space. that was the reason why i clone it to have more space on my 'C' drive.

When you clone a partition to a new drive it will be the same size as the old one. Look under disk management & see if you have un-allocated space on that drive..

I would like to ask if there is any possible way that i can transfer all my 'C drive ' to a hard drive ( 'F drive') including the operating system.without loosing the unused space on the 'F drive' .
I really want my 'C drive to be bigger.
