Touchscreen help?!?

Hey guys.

So dad brought home an old touchscreen monitor he used to work behind the counter at hus business. Its not too old but nothing new.

Its an elo1515l 15 inch screen

We finally got it all working and everything installed when we ran into some problems. When we touch the screen the touches register on my main screen (hp laptop) and not on the touch screen itself

Already searched it up and everybody says use tablet pc settings in control pannel. For some reason in windows 8 i dont have tablet pc setting in my control pannel.
Ive also played around with main displays and monitor 1 and 2. The only thing that works is when touch is the main screen and in screen resolution settings the display only shows on touch. So nothing on my laptop

How can i fix this? No tablet pc settings and i want to be able to use both screens. Preferably using laptop as main screen whilst still using secondary touch.

Welcome to CTH

Ensure that the Secondary Display is in Extended Mode
* To select Extended Mode, press the Windows Key + P
* In Desktop Mode, select Charms (Windows + C), choose Settings and then Control Panel
* Select View by Large Icons, choose Tablet PC Settings and select Setup
* Both screens will be a white background and the Primary Display will show the text:
“Touch this screen to identify it as the touchscreen”
“If this is not the Tablet PC screen, press Enter to move to the next screen."
To close the tool, press Esc
* Touch the Primary Display once
* You will see a white screen with the following instruction:
“Press Enter to proceed to the next step to complete your configuration”
* Press Enter to synchronize touch with the Primary Display
* Touch the Secondary Display once
* You will see a white screen with the following instruction:
“Press Enter to proceed to the next step to complete your configuration”
* Press Enter to synchronize touch with the Secondary Display
