"BOOTMGR is compressed"

hi all, im having a similar problem booting, i was compressing my hdd when i canceled it because it took to slow and later switched it off. when i turned my computer (running win7 ultimate) back on it had the same message "BOOTMGR is compressed" and to add more difficulty i dont have the install disk, am i screwed, or is there a way to fix this?

Hi Mike. Unless the Recovery Environment is preinstalled and you can access it, you will need the W7 DVD. Can you borrow one from a friend? If so, there are various solutions here (it's the same procedure for W7).
