Extra mouse button problem

Hi,

I have a Microsoft IntellMouse 3.0. I set one of the buttons up for a gaming key using the "gaming toggle" option. This has worked fine but along with the action that I programmed in happening when I push the button, the key sets off my PC looking for Help Files for whatever app I am using at the time- how do I disable this feature?

Thanks.

Have you tried reconfiguring the gaming toggle feature in Control Panel>Mouse? Since it is capable of recording keystrokes, it's easy enough to hit a wrong key while setting it up.
