SPEEDFAN help

hi i've been useing speedfan for a while now and i can only turn my cpu fan down and i have 3 case fans 2*8cm & 1*12cm and the 12cm and one of the 8cm ones are both pluged into the motherbord the others are pluged stright into psu wires

here is my specs if needed:


Manufacturer: MSI
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.60GHz
Memory: 512MB RAM
Hard Drive: 122 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
Monitor: Plug and Play Monitor
Sound Card: Realtek AC97 Audio
Speakers/Headphones: 2x Labtec Speackers With Labtec Sound Box
Keyboard: USB Root Hub
Mouse: USB Root Hub
Mouse Surface: Goodyear Mouse Mat
Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519)

Do the two fans plugged into the mobo have a third (usually yellow) wire going from the fan unit to the plug?

Measure the voltage across the fan control wire while the speed is adjusted in Speedfan; make sure there is some kind of change.

i cant change the fan speed or voltage of other fans because its not picking them up

What model is your motherboard? Does it support changing the fan speed?

Msi 6585 and not sure about changine fans but it should ?

From what I can gather it doesn't have the ability to control those fans, but I can't find the item at the MSI site to confirm it.
