Question Help with shortcut deletion
I Have WinXP and on my desktop i have discovered a shortcut (it ends in .exe) that I dont want and it doesnt work I want to delete it but it keeps telling me that it is being used by another person or program
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it?

Is it that the program is uninstalled and this icon still remains? Have you tried booting into safe mode and deleting it?

If it is just a stubborn shortcut then try deleting it with Killbox

You may want to run spyware and virus scans just in case
