All sorts of problems
After scanning with AVG Free Edition, I discovered I have a bunch of Trojans on my computer.

- No desktop backgroud shows up/cannot select one in display settings
- When I try CTRL + ALT + DELETE, it says 'Task manager has been disabled by your system administrator

Only two problems I have encountered so far, but I'd like to remove these viruses. Here's a logfile from Hijackthis:

Hi,

The bad file is reported as "missing", but we'll run this tool :

download VundoFix.exe to your desktop and doubleclick on VundoFix.exe to run it.

Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task. You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK. When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.

When it has finished scanning, click the Remove Vundo button. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES. Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo. When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.

Once your computer has shut down, wait for a minute or two and then turn your computer back on. Disable your antivirus program and go here and run an online scan with BitDefender. When the ActiveX Control has loaded, click on "Click here to scan" and grab a coffee. Post back and let us know what it found (post the log).

Open My Computer. Doubleclick on your C drive and look for C:\vundofix.txt. Also post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and run Hijack This again and post a new Hijack This log too (if any viruses are detected and removed, reboot first).

Also , post this other log :
Download SilentRunners.vbs.
Run it. It generates a log, wait that the scan is complete. Copy/paste it here, please.
(If your antivirus queries the script, allow it to run. It's not malicious.)

Run HijackThis and tick :

Click "Fix checked".

Download this reg file on the desktop. Double click it and merge it with the registry.

The same thing with THIS.

Now, reboot. Post a new log and let me know how the computer is running.
