Unhappy Don't Understand need help

Morning

OK I probably won't make sence but i will try to explain

when i logon , it take the mouse a while to response to my lunch shortcuts on the bottom blue bar. The icon on my desktop, no trouble.

The start menu won't even response

When final it does let me open a window, 9 out on 10 you can't close it. the window tab on the bottom, if you click that, the normal close/restore popup will show but you can't select a item

it seem like it is looping on something

i running window xp 64 bit platform

i been shutting the machine down by pressing the on/off button on the box, could this cause the problem?

Brad

hi w1che

still not working. i logon this morning and the lauch icon did not work. how ever the clock is back, that one thng good.
i open a folder for a test and couldn't close it. the 'X' in top right corner didn't response.
start didn't response either.
i did a alt/del and the task come up. I end the folder task and every thing stated to correctly. there must be something looping in the background brad

It seems you may have some Malware. You may want to post over at Cyber Safety & explain what going on. They may have you post a HiJackThis log..
