help please for associated files . comp is locked
hi there people
I am using window xp and I have incurred a major problem .When I download a file of the net I can not install it.MY window says the following. This file does not have a program associated with it for preforming this action.Create an association in the folder options control panel. I have tryed many things and I do not seem to be getting anywhere. If any of you could please help a damsel in distress I would be very much appreciate some ones help on this matter. Thanks for taking the time to listen .Aslo I can not get my emails or even my firewall to operate with this message that keeps coming up. Have a great day and I will look forward to a reply hopefully soon to my major problem maybe minor to your comp techos. |

What is the file extension you're D/L'ing. What program does it go with?

Im not sure what you mean as I am not great with this comp language . Novice here in some way.I will try to understand what you say to me ok.
