Saber1,
Please update Avira, and see if you get the same results. Apparently it is a false positive. The latest Avira updates should have resolved the issue. To be on the safe side, please do the following: Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) Save to your Desktop XP - Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program. Vista/Seven - Right-click and select: Run as Administrator Make sure a checkmark is placed next to the following entries when you get to the display that shows them: Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Then, click Finish. If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Once the program has loaded, select Perform Quick Scan, then click Scan. When the scan is complete, click OK, then click Show Results Be sure everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. When done, a log opens in Notepad, and if required the program will ask you to reboot to remove any locked files. Please post the log produced by MBAM in your reply. Thanks! |
