Blocking server rights with McAfee fireall 4 (been to mcafee help forum)

I'm looking for someone here who uses McAfee firewall 4 (the lastest version) that can help me make up some rulesets and can tell me how to block server rights. I know blocking server rights is blocking inbounds but does anyone know how to do it? I been to the McAfee web site and forum and no one could help me there.

Its just that this original post was in may you just joined. I was wondering how far back you are going to go to bring up unanswered threads.

Sorry taichimaster... I hope you don't come here looking for an answer to your question. BTW did you ever get it sorted?

No need in being brash. I know how to make rules for rule based firewalls, but McAfee fire wall is not a rea hardcore rule based firewall. Kerio and McAfee firewalls are 2 different firewalls. In kerio it's easy to block server rights but in McAfee firewall, it's a little hard to figure out. There's relly no help in making rules or setting up McAfee. Kerio has a few web sites that can and will help you learn about. The only web site that McAfee has that I seen was their self help forum. Not much help there when they don't know how to do it and really don't care if a program has server rights

i8088user, I still haven't. I haven't been able to play with it. I put It on my Win98 sytem and went with Zone Alarm on my XP system until Sygate gets the problem fixed with their firewall. Thanks for keeping this post alive. I was shocked to see that some replied to this post being that not to many people use McAfee firewall of just don't know how to do it even if they do use it. Plus I find it easier to figure stuff out by yourself than ask cuz I feel like I look like a fool for asking something like this. Thanks if you can help me just let me know.

LOL Yeah I tried that before I posted At the McAfee Help forum. They told me in chat how to do it but it didn't work and I went back to chat and they said there was no way to block server rights. No way to block server rights? What ever I tought I would ask At McAfeee help forum to see if anyone there found out a way to do it. Nope no one there could help. So I tried here and still no one here knows how to but that's ok I'll still try on my own to see if there's a way.

Why not give them feedback that you were not happy with the help provided...
