Seagate External Portable Drive Question

Hi, my Seagate external drive has the following files in it and they get all mixed up with my transferred work and I am wondering if they are okay to remove (they were not on my other Seagate drive)..

Autorun.inf
Setup.exe
SeagateExpansion.ico

I guess that last one is the Seagate logo and, from what I can gather, the autorun. inf belongs to it but I read where the autorun. inf could be a virus but likely not in this case...is it okay to delete these? What is the setup.exe?

Thank you for any help.

If you don't want the Seagate software then they are safe to remove (backup).
It will then act as a basic drive without any backup/sync software when you plug it in.

I think they are safe to remove, because I don't have them on my hard drive.
