Seagate External Portable Drive Question
Hi, my Seagate external drive has the following files in it and they get all mixed up with my transferred work and I am wondering if they are okay to remove (they were not on my other Seagate drive)..
Autorun.inf Setup.exe SeagateExpansion.ico I guess that last one is the Seagate logo and, from what I can gather, the autorun. inf belongs to it but I read where the autorun. inf could be a virus but likely not in this case...is it okay to delete these? What is the setup.exe? Thank you for any help. |

If you don't want the Seagate software then they are safe to remove (backup).
It will then act as a basic drive without any backup/sync software when you plug it in. |

I think they are safe to remove, because I don't have them on my hard drive.
