Direct file transfer
Hello, I'm new to this forum so I promise to learn if I'm breaking any rules.
I just built my first computer as a "let's see if I can do it" project. Thanks to a lot of technical help (I'm a computer idiot) it was a success. I need to know how do I get all my music files from my old Win 98 computer to my XP Pro computer? I've had lots of help but nothing is working. Can anyone out there please help me with this? Like I said, I'm not computer savy so I basically need step by step instruction almost from "turn computer on" to "now your files are transferred" Thanks for your help and at least reading this. |

Hi,
Do you have a CD writer in your Win98 computer ? How much (in MB) music do you have ? If it's not a lot a USB flash stick might be a good option because of their ease of use. The only reason why I wouldn't advise one is if you have several Gb of data to transfer. |
