Transfering Outlook 2003 E-Mails to Outlook 2000
Hi Everyone,
I have posted this particular problem at other forums but as yet haven't solved it, so i'm hoping somebody here can help. I have been using Outlook 2003 on a Wondows 2k machine but now have to transfer what I need to keep to another machine (running XP and Outlook 2000). I have exported mt mails as a .pst file in the relevent format for importing into Outlook 2000. I ahve also set up all of my mail accounts as they are in my Outlook 2003. However when I try to import the .pst file it tells me that I don't have the relevent permissions to do so ("File access denied you do not have the permission required to access ......pst"). Cab someonr PLEASE help as I really need to be able to read some of my saved mails after I get rid of the other machine. Thanks Regards, Navarre |

If you haven't already, try the steps in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article, How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP.
