script/keys to auto restart in safe mode
Ok, here is one that has pestered myself and other guys at work, we have got xp to restart in safe mode from within windows ( we dont like standing around waiting to press F8, usually miss it) But doesnt work right fully, anyone got this to work? Im wide open to suggestions.

Open MSCONFIG, goto the BOOT.INI tab and check the SOS option.

Ah, see thats the thing......we want it a one button thing. We knew about that though.

You could create a batch file to replace the boot.ini file with a version including the SOS switch.
