Login as root instead of your usual user. When u setup your operating system you would have given a password for root.

If you know how to get a terminal window open, type the following:

su -

*then it asks for the root password*

once it accepts the root password type...

mozilla

*that is what you need to be running mozilla as root while 'logged in' as your typical user account

Hey,To all

Well not sure if this may help someone with the same problem
but i will add how i fixed it there was an icon of Mozilla on my
desktop from before i installed gpg & installed from that site

so after that i was having a problem when trying to run mozilla
it would not find enigmail so what i did was delete that icon from
the desktop then make a new icon & now i have enigmail so as
far as i can see deleting that icon did the job well you all have

a great day

Thank you
