Screen resolution..........
Hi All,
I updated Debian 8 and lost most of my screen resolution options. A fix is: john@M:~$ xrandr --newmode "1920x1080_60.00" 173.00 1920 2048 2248 2576 1080 1083 1088 1120 -hsync +vsync john@M:~$ xrandr --addmode VGA1 1920x1080_60.00 john@M:~$ xrandr -s 1920x1080 But the setting only holds for the current session. A reboot causes the setting to be forgotten so need to be issued after each new start-up. Does anyone know how I can make the command stick????????????? |
