I dont know if we have anyone here who enjoys Chanukah but if we do..

HAPPY HANUKAH FRIENDS!!!!!!

When i think about those settlers with only enough oil in thier lamp FOR ONE DAY and it lasted 8,it makes me wonder...

All kinds of miracles on earth happen all the time (I bet we only hear about 1/2 of them)

I hope everyone gets lots of nice gifts

My wife is Jewish (I was a Catholic) and has a small collection of menorahs, the traditional candle holder to celebrate Hanukkah - below is a pic of our menorah from last year's holiday on the last day -

As explained in the link, 1 candle the first night + the shamash to lite the candles, increasing a candle a day until of the 8th night, the appearance is what I posted; the candles will burn for just a few hours depending on their size and brand.

We have an Hasidic Synagogue a few blocks away from my house.

Every night during Hanukkah they attach these very large menorahs (equipped with electric "candles" to their car roofs and drive around. The lead car has the largest Menorah.
