Exclamation Memory For Dell Demension 2400

I have some memory and am wondering if it will work on my dell. Here are some numbers they say on it: PC133U-333-542-C, PC100-222-620, PC100-322-620, and the other one just says PC100. Will anyone of these fitin my dell? I already tried putting them in. I couldn't get them in, so I am wondering if these are the wrong type orif I am putting them in Wrong?

Hi PCGAMER,

Check the manual (if you can locate it) or check the online manual for the Dimension 2400. Chances are that your system requires either RDRAM or DDR SDRAM. The RAM sticks that you are trying to install are SDRAM.

Exclamation

Yes, the memory type it requres are DDR S0DRAM. They still won't go in though! The memory I have, have 2 slots on the bottom and the dell has 1 indent that would go into the slots on the memory, in the middle of it.

Ummm....that's why I wrote in my original response that the sticks that you're trying to install are SDRAM. Since the memory type required is DDR SDRAM, the SDRAM sticks that you're trying to install are not the correct type. You need DDR PC2700 or DDR PC3200 sticks, not PC100 or PC133.
