You need to upgrade your DirectX to 9.0c and update your graphic driver to latest. After doing this it will work

But i downloaded DirectX 9.0c last week and i had been having trouble downloading it before, but that was the first time it downloaded successfully. do you really think it's a DirectX issue? i would really like my computer cleaned and everything put back to normal like when it was brand new with no problems. any idea how to get it like that again??

well i was just told by a different site to do a system restore, and now im having more problems. my McAfee Security Suite is freaking out saying "Some McAfee SecurityCenter components might not have been installed or launched propely. Restart Your Computer to fix this. If this message appears again after restart, please reinstall McAfee Security Center." WELL the message came up again, but i don't know how to reinstall it because i bought it online at the McAfee website. any thoughts? and also any thought on how to clean the unit to likw how it used to be when i first bought it? i have so many problems with this dang computer!

anyway, to answer ur question, i have an Intel (R) Extreme Graphics Controller and it was made by Intel Corporation. i would appreciate any help u can give me. thank you so much. would u happen to be able to read hijackthis logs?? i wonder if that will help any...
