glad you solved the problem. how about posting the link or the instructions on how to do it so it might help others who is looking for the same info in the future.

Sure. I decided against it in the end, I'd need to do some serious partition moving and put another hard drive in, but instructions for anyone else who wants to:

1) Create a primary partition (has to be the first partition on the first drive, which has to be IDE) and install the bootup files onto it

2) Download EasyBCD (free) from here

3) Follow the instructions here
