Hurrah.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please can somebody confirm that if I was to buy Vista Ultimate OEM I would be able to install it more than once. I have read so many crossed reports on this that I don't know whether it is possible.

1. Why not Windows 7, so much better than Vista

2. NO! Vista Ultimate OEM ; Means

OEM software usage is ruled by the Microsoft Software License Terms document. So for instance it will detail that with Windows Vista Ultimate licensed via OEM you do get limited downgrade rights in that you can downgrade as far back as two earlier versions if you so desire, but that there are no transfer rights, so the software may not be removed from the PC it was originally installed on and installed on another, however, you are allowed to transfer the PC complete with the OEM licensed software to a new user if required.

You can reinstall on the same PC, if you change hard drive, motherboard (If it is the same make/model or the same manufacturer's replacement/equivalent as defined by the manufacture's warranty).

The reason, since the motherboard contains the CPU and is the "heart and soul" of the PC, when the motherboard is replaced (for reasons other than defect) a new PC is essentially created.
