Windows 7 Downgrade Touchscreen issue

Hey guys,

My friend recently gave me his Toshiba S50t-A0280 laptop, he mucked up the operating system, so I installed a genuine copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

The laptop is a touchscreen, it previously had Windows 8 on it, i have installed the graphics drivers (intel and Nvidia).

But I cant get the touchscreen to work, I tried installing the " Toshiba Touchscreen Software " it just opens up a cmd and the screen flashes..

I opened the control panel and went into Table PC settings and tried to setup but im not getting a response when i touch the screen..

When I try to calibirate the crosshair just stays in the top corner..

Thanks guys!

p.s thats not a crack in the screen photo is just weird lol!

Been trying to find out if drivers are needed for the touchscreen, but can't find a Toshiba laptop listed with that model number.

OK that explains why I couldn't find the laptop, because you had added a zero to the model number in your first post.

I don't see a driver listed for the touchscreen so you might want to call Toshiba to ask about that, or take a look, and see if Windows Updates has one listed under optional updates. If they do I would create a restore point before installing it just in case.
