Transferring settings from Need For Speed/ Underground 2

I am trying to transfer the areas/settings I have gotten to with Need For Speed Underground 2 and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2. Would it work to just transfer certain files? I gandered around the EA Games file but didn't really see anything that pertained to profiles or settings. I am looking for some guidance in transferring the right files and getting this done. Can anyone help?

Hi AJ,

I haven't really played NFSU2 however most games these days just save all your game profile data into a folder called "Save". If I were you I would have a thorough look through the game directory for anything which resembles that. Worse case scenario would be to backup the entire folder so that you could simply dump your backup on top of a fresh installation.

I didn't know if putting the file into the existing one would give me errors. I'll try it and if that happens I'll have to find another way to transfer them. I'll post back my results.

Give it a try, be sure to save the original files just in case.

I tried it and it didn't transfer my "careers" file/setting that I have worked hard to reach. Is there anything else I can try?
