Malware?

(please disregard my previous topic, I forgot that I should not make a reply to my own topic until it has been reviewed)

Win XP
I use Firefox 3.
Just recently I tried opening my gmail account and received this message.

----------------------------------
Secure Connection Failed
mail.google.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate expired on 5/2/2009 12:32 PM.
(Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)
* This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.
* If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.
----------------------------------

I normally keep Adblock Plus running (a firefox extension). But I had turned it off to watch a streming video, and kept it off for a few days. The invalid certificate message is happening with gmail, and aolmail, hotmail, and sometimes google itself on this computer. i am able to check my email on other computers. Help please?

Hello Bremang,

No infection showing here, and you really are not describing an infection issue, with the software change leading to the email problems. For issues like these you will need to post a request in either the CTH Applications forum or the CTH Internet/Browsers forum.
