Laptop stuck on Community Network
Hi
I have a laptop running xp pro which was purchased from a local school On startup it asks for a network username and password. This isnt the normal windows logon. They must have had a private network available in the school which students could only log onto and use. I just need to delete this and use windows normally. The school are not helpful in this as it is water under the bridge and they have moved on. Cant get into the bios or safe mode. Windows logo appears then a blue Windows window which says "preparing network connections" Then "starting scripts" and the School logon window appears I have a Linux disk or Bart PE if anyone thinks it may be useful, but I have no clue what to alter Thanks |

I think it may be a setting problem:what is the stand-alone Internet, access or routing?
192.168.1.1 is the routing address or you set the local IP? |
