microsoft fix it center

ran across the following utility from microsoft over at cnet. anyone heard anything about it or gave it a try?

Fix it Center finds and fixes many common PC and device problems automatically. It also helps prevent new problems by proactively checking for known issues and installing updates. Fix it Center helps to consolidate the many steps of diagnosing and repairing a problem into an automated tool that does the work for you.

I'm cautious about MS "fixing" anything... I'm sure for simple non-malware/hardware/3rd party software related errors it may do ok... but this is MS were talking about... you can be sure their "fix it" utility is likely to actually cause problems, if any of those issues are present.

My 2 cents :-)
