Exclamation network logon pop up when internet is accessed

Need help big time.

Our computers on our network get a popup asking for us to login like you do when you start windows. This popup comes about 20 times per web page. It asks for username and password.

The pop up says connect to 66.48.93.132

If we hit cancel things proceed for a second then you can finally reach a page after about 20 times. If you use Mozilla this does not happen.

Somewhere there must be a network conflict.

any ideas appreciated
