Format disk drive in safe mode
I have a Win2k OS where all of the drives stopped working. I get an error message: "Aif floppy)\ is not accessible, Incorrect function" whenever I double click on the drive letter. The cd and floppy show up in the BIOS and show as working properly in the device manager.
All of the drives do work in safe mode. I want to format my hard drive and can't since I can not use any type of startup disk due to none of the drives working. Can I format the hard drive in safe mode? If so how? Thanks |
