Replaced boot drive but second drive not found
I have been running 2 SATA HDDs with XP Pro but earlier today my boot drive craped out on me so I replaced it with my IDE harddrive from my media center containing XPMC 2005. During the bootup process it list my second HDD (the working SATA drive) but when I open My Computer the drive is not listed and when I go into Computer Management its not on the drive list to assign it a drive letter. Any suggestions?

While you are in Windows (media center) try installing the sata drivers so windows can see it.

Make sure the cable didn't come loose (happens often with SATA)

I got it figured out, it was the BIOS setting for the SATA had to switch it to combined since I was using both IDE and SATA. Thanks for the help though.
