Clearwire Tech Helped Me Soup it Up!
Well, it started dragging like molasses again, so I called Clearwire to see what we could do.
He had me do something I've never done before. First, hit "run", then type in netsh ip reset resetlog.txt Then hit "okay". Next, he had me type in netsh winsock reset catalog, hit "okay". It's zipping around like a scalded cat! He said it reset something in the computer as to how it connects to the internet. That may be what has been needing done, since I've tried everything else but tossing it in the commode. Anyone else ever do that also? |

Hi guys- Glad to help, Degs.
I will check those sites out, Rainbow. Thanks! It was a bit slow on one of my bigger sites while ago, but still better on the rest. I think it's just a busy one at night. |

Hmm. After reading those, I hope my Spybot, Adaware, and AVG are still okay. He had me close all windows before doing the reset, and I checked, and AVG e-mail checking is still going. Maybe all of that is okay.

No replies tells me that everything is probably okay. The tech said nothing about having to reload my spyware and virus protection, and all seems to be working okay.
Thanks~ |
