Mozilla Firefox

Somehow, it asked me for my profiles one day as I started the computer, said that "default" was already in use, so I went back to an old one. However, on this old one, a few sites won't work properly, but when I use Internet Explorer, they work fine. Is there anyway to change this profile back to the one I have been using?

Thanks in advance.

I have had the same problem in the past and to fix it all I do ctrl+alt+dlt, go into task manager and find firefox somewhere in there. Not really having a lot of knowledge I think the program closes but doesn't shut down sometimes. This should solve your problem!

God Luck

I am not using Firefox right now but I think there is a way to manage your profiles under the tools up on the top of the browser

To access the Profile Manager:-

Click - Start > Run > (type) firefox.exe -p (firefox[dot]exe[space]-p)

Once opened you can select, create, delete and rename Profiles and there's an option to have it open on every Firefox start.

bhelser is correct about closing Firefox properly.
