Acer Computers

Hi

Hope this is the right place for this? After experiencing problems with a crash during an update I came to the forum for help which was second to none.

Found a little gem regarding recovery. Unknown to me untill now, Acer computers under 2 years have a built in recovery system, independant from cd and is on the HD. All you have to do is hold down 'alt' and tap 'F10' on boot. AND IT WORKS! It has reloaded Vista etc and restored back as if out of box. I'm using ******* 'free' Recovery for the files in the HD to recover pics etc.. and so far all is ok.

Thank you so much for all the assistance given.

Lets hope this will help someone else.

Kind regards

Andy007
