Monitor settings
I am using Mandriva One.
I can't figure out how to change the monitor settings to show anything larger than 800x600, the maximum choice in the Desktop configuration's Display Settings. Consequently, some web pages don't fit on screen. The computer is pretty old (Pentium 3) with a Virge graphics card, and the monitor is a 15 inch CRT, but I have no problems making the adjustments on the same machines when I'm using Win98 with them. I don't know how to do any terminal stuff like sudo, and I'm really not too interested in learning it; is there something else to do? Thanks. |

Don't know how
Dear Kage:
I don't know how to do what you have asked. Are you saying I should open this file as if it was a word processing document? And if so, how do I save it again without adding text formatting, such as paragraph instructions? |

Open a text editor, such as gedit, and then using the text editor, open /etc/X11/xorg.conf and post the contents here.
