PC freezes playing 3d games

Hello, these are the parts of my PC (below) and my psu settings (end), It isn't a specific brand, we chose

the parts. Well here is the problem everytime i try to play a 3d game after 10 seconds of playing the PC

freezes and Restarts! What should i do to fix this? (in the beginning it used to freeze only in the game Age

of empires III (when th pc contained the parts 1-17), after adding the parts 18,19 & 20 it freezes in every

3D game).
Then i took off the part 19 and i now have 2 of KINGSTON KVR667D2N5/1G 1GB PC5300 667MHZ VALUE RAM.
I can't play most of the games for more than 5 minutes. It usually don't freezes at all when i play need for

speed pro streets and i can't understamd why. I asked many and they said that anything could cause this

problem, is there anybode who can help me and tell me at least what i can do to see what can be causing

this?

Archer, I have moved your post from the tips and tricks sticky. Your post is now where you can actually get help. The other thread is for adding tips and tricks, not for answering your problems.

I think you need to upgrade your power supply. 400w of ? and 12v rails are only 13 and 14 amps. Time for a new one, more wattage and 12v rails at least 18A.

sorry but i am don't have much knowledge in computers, what exctly do you mean when you say power suply? the ups or the power suply on the tower?

Yeah I would say it is your PSU. 400W is very minimal for what you have, I would be looking at around 550W.

Good brand one also, So you know it will last and not die out and kill all your components. Something like Enermax, Thermaltake, OCZ, Tagan, Xcilo, Xion or Hyper.

Power supply in the tower btw.
