Hi Craixenz, welcome to CTH.
We need to know what your motherboard make and model is to be able to advise where to get the chipset AGP drivers from.
If you don't know it, download http://www.cybertechhelp.com/downloa...t-home-edition and it will tell you.

There are 138 different models in the Compaq v3000 range.
Can you tell me exactly what model it is (should be on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop).

There are no specific chipset drivers available on HP-Compaq Drivers page for that model and indicates it came with either an Intel 945 chip or an nVidia GFGo7200 chip.

Can you please download and run Everest (see my link in post #5) and open the motherboard > motherboard section.
Click on Report > Quick Report - Motherboard > Plain text.
Copy and paste the following lines into a reply here...

Try these latest drivers from Intel.

Still working on northbridge chipset drivers. There's very little info I can find to be definitive.
I doubt it's going to detect that proprietory Compaq board in Everest, but can you please look at Motherboard > chipset > select North Bridge on the top right side and see if it gives you any information on the lower right. If so, do the report > plain text step again

Hello everyone. First,I have to say that i'm from spain and my english is not perfect.

I have the same problem , when i'm opening the game, a window tells me that AGP is deactivated, and the game may not be consistancy.

I tryed to restore that problem, and after looking BIOS (without seeing any option to activate AGP) I downloaded some drivers , trying to solve the problem, but the problem was still there.

My laptop is:

Aspire 6930
Intel Core 3 duo processor t7350
Up to 1244 MB mobile intel graphics media accelerator 4500 MHD.

I downloaded "everest", like smurfy said, and it tells me the next about my motherboard:

Versión: not aplicable
ID: DMI
Serial number: 844ASFMBQTF01059

Thanks, and sorry if I'm posting in a bad thread, i'm new and i don't understand very well some things.
